If you are not sure about getting tutoring with Student Haven Tutoring you can request a free 15 minute consultation. If you are ready to begin tutoring sessions, simply choose the math level, the tutor, and time and day that is most convenient for you, and the length of the session. You will be sent a invite on Zoom for the tutoring session.

Can I review my previous sessions?
The tutor you work with is your choice, limited only to the availability of the tutor and the level of math. It is important that your tutor is compatible with your learning style and personality. You can choose the same tutor or choose a different tutor. Our experience at Student Haven Tutoring that each students work best with the tutor best suited to him or her.

Can I work with the same tutor again?
Student Haven Tutoring currently offers tutoring in all levels of math from basic math to precalculus for students from kindergarten to college. The topics include word problems, percents, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers, equations, functions, graphing, polynomials, quadratics, conics, logarithms, trigonometric functions, sequences and series, and much more.
The online tutoring sessions are done through Zoom. Zoom has features such as share screen which allows the tutor and student to see each other's computer screen. Zoom also has a feature which allows the tutor or the student to record the session. The student can record the session to review later as long as it is done with the tutors permission.

How do I get a tutor?
When you choose to have a tutoring session with Student Haven Tutoring, not only do you choose the time, you also choose the tutor from our list of tutors. We are currently in the process of screening and hiring many more tutors. This will make it easier to find a tutor most suited to your needs, and most compatible to your personality and learning style.
Is there a the minimum time for tutoring?

Currently Student Haven tutoring offers tutoring sessions of 1 hour (60 minutes), 1.5 hours (90 minutes), and 2 hours (120 minutes). We are working on offering a half hour (30 minutes) session if there is a demand for it. But for other lengths of time you are able to add sessions consecutively together if you need a session of 2.5 hours, 3 hours, or 3.5 hours for example.
